    RCPD Cruisers
    Police in Riley County arrived at a vehicle collision in the 5000 block of Fort Riley Boulevard and found that a 1993 Mercury passenger car driven by Peter Savary, 52, of Manhattan collided with a concrete highway divider.
    This collision reportedly occurred immediately after Savary was cut off by an unknown vehicle traveling westbound on Fort Riley Boulevard. Savary indicates he then lost control of his vehicle resulting in a crash.
    Riley County EMS arrived and transported Savary to Mercy Regional Health Center for complaint of head pain. The accident was reported a little before seven Friday morning and Savary was still a patient at Mercy late in the morning.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to a single vehicle collision early Friday morning near the intersection of Fort Riley Boulevard and Poliska Lane. Police found a silver 2006 Honda Civic collided with a guardrail creating damage.
    Three signs were also damaged in this collision; however, no medical care for the driver was required.
    The accident was reported just before 3 a.m.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to a report of motor vehicle theft Thursday at approximately 1:00 PM in the 2000 block of Buttonwood Drive. 38  Jonathan Kelly, 38, of Manhattan contacted police when he noticed his Honda 125cc dirt bike had been removed from his property without his permission.
    The total estimated loss is approximately 15-hundred dollars. At the time of this report there had been no arrests made.
    Those with information about this crime can contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers and remain anonymous as well as qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    While details were not provided, a 31-year-old Manhattan man was taken into custody by Riley County Police shortly before 2:30 Friday morning. Michael Russin faces a felony DUI charge and refusal of a chemical test–with bond set at $10,000. Russin was arrested in the 2100 block of Candlewood.

    A 34-year-old Manhattan woman faces a variety of drug-related charges following her arrest Thursday afternoon. Heather Spiller was arrested in the 700 block of Elling Drive on four charges, including sale and distribution and use of a communication facility. Spiller’s bond was set at $9,000.
