Riley County Police issued a press release Wednesday morning regarding a few arrests, which were made in the Manhattan/Riley County area regarding ongoing investigations into the illegal distribution of narcotics.
Detectives in the 800 block of Pottawatomie Avenue, in Manhattan, made two arrests on Tuesday evening, which resulted in the seizure of over an ounce of crack cocaine valued at around $3,000.
Linnie Sanders (32) of Manhattan was arrested for 22 different charges, including six counts of sale of crack cocaine, seven counts of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, and endangering a child. Her bond was set at $53,000.
Lavera Daniely (51) of Manhattan was also arrested. She faces 22 charges as well-most of which are the same as Sanders, as a majority of the charges are in reference to crack cocaine. Her bond was set at $52,000.
