As KMAN reported last month, a shooting incident took place in Aggieville, which resulted in the arrest of Dontay Tabron for aggravated battery and criminal discharge of a firearm. Tabron appeared in Riley County District Court Tuesday afternoon for a status hearing.
Tabron’s attorney, Britian Stites asked Judge, William Malcolm to set the matter for a preliminary hearing. Prosecuting State Attorney, Barry Disney said he believes the prelim will take around an hour, but Stites requested an hour and a half.
Judge Malcolm set the 1 1/2 hour preliminary hearing for June 5th at 3 p.m.
