Another status hearing was held in the case of Derik Kesler, who faces a vehicular homicide charge involving the death of a bicyclist from Manhattan.Kesler appeared in Riley County District Court alongside his attorney, who requested a three day jury trial. The trial was set for September 22nd-24th.
Judge David Stutzman asked that pre-trial motions be filed by attorneys by June 26th. A two hour preliminary hearing and pre-trial hearing were also set for August 4th at 1:30 p.m.
