The Wamego boys golf team finished in a tie for second with their team score at the 4A state tournament but lost the tiebreaker to officially take third in McPherson.
Buhler ran away with the team title by shooting 293, and Wamego and Rose Hill each shot 310. Mac McNish of Buhler won the individual title with a 67.
Ryan Elder led the way for the Red Raiders with a ninth place finish after firing a 74. Parker Waters was right behind in tenth place with a score of 75. Cooper Spears wasn’t far behind with a 78.
