    Riley County Police have apparently arrested a 22-year-old Manhattan man the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Department had been attempting to locate. According to RCPD’s early morning arrest report, Anthony Brazzle was taken into custody shortly before 8:30 Thursday night. Charges include drug possession and probation violation, with a bond of $4,356.
    The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office asked for assistance Thursday in locating Brazzle.

    The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating a subject they say is wanted on several warrants for various offenses in Pottawatomie County, Wamego, and Manhattan. If you have information on the whereabouts of Anthony Brazzle, 22, possibly of the Manhattan area you’re asked to contact Pottawatomie County’s  Lt. Sauerbrunn at 457-3353.
    Brazzle is approximately 6 feet tall and 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. As with all requests for the community’s assistance please do not attempt to apprehend this subject as doing so could create the potential for harm. Further inquiries about this request can be directed to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to a single vehicle collision with a deer Wednesday evening at approximately 9:50 PM in the 6900 block of Fort Riley Boulevard. Police found a 2011 Ford Fusion driven by Erica Brown, 35, of Junction City collided with a deer after it ran onto the roadway from the shoulder.
    Brown was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of minor complaint of pain to arms and torso. The injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
