Police in Riley County filed a report and are investigating an aggravated robbery which allegedly occurred in the 900 block of Moro Street Tuesday at approximately 11:20 PM. Police found that after being asked for a cigarette Andrew Peterman, 25, of Manhattan became the victim of this crime when struck in the face by an unknown white male.
Two other male suspects were present at the time of this crime and reportedly participated in the robbery of a mobile phone and cigarettes with an estimated value of $154. Currently no arrests have been made and police ask anyone with information to contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
No serious injury was reported as a result of this crime.
