    Westmoreland shooting ends with arrest

    Pott Co Sheriff PatchA Westmoreland man was arrested for attempted 2nd degree murder and aggravated battery during the early Sunday morning hours, according to a press release from the Pottowatomie County Sheriff’s Department.

    The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call on Sunday at approximately 2:30 a.m. that someone had been shot at 110 South 4th St., in Westmoreland.

    A second 911 call was received and the caller reported that two individuals had been shot.

    Sheriff’s deputies located two individuals outside the residence, suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

    The suspect, 28-year old Travis Conder, was also located outside the residence, and was taken into custody without incident.

    The shooting victims and Conder are all listed as residents of 110 South 4th St., in Westmoreland.

    The incident remains under investigation at this time and no bond has been set.
