Change is coming to Fort Riley.
The 1st Combat Aviation Brigade…first Infantry Division…is hosting a change of command ceremony next week.Colonel Matthew R. Lewis will relinquish command to Colonel John M. Cyrulik after two years leading the “Demon” brigade.
Lewis is slated to become the deputy commander of the Combat Readiness Center at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
Cyrulik, a recent graduate of the U.S. Air War College Montgomery, Alabama, comes to the Demon brigade from
Fort Rucker where he served as the director of evaluation and standardization from July 2013 to June 2014.

The cermony will take place at the post’s Cavalry Parade Field…at 10 a.m on July 8th.
