A St. George man has entered a no contest plea to burglary and theft-related charges in Pottawatomie County District Court. Jerry Daniels, 55, entered the plea to counts of residential burglary, non-residential burglary, and felony theft. Daniels’ sentencing is set for August 20th.
Daniels was arrested in February following  a search warrant by the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested along with  Paula Daniels, 64, after three stolen vehicles were recovered from their property, along with guns, an enclosed trailer, and vehicle parts. Stolen property recovered was reported to exceed $25,000 at the time of their arrest.
Paula Daniels had been set for sentencing Thursday afternoon but the judge continued her sentencing to August 20th so the two will be sentenced at the same time.
