A Manhattan man is facing several charges including aggravated assault for allegedly luring a man to a parking lot by using inappropriate pictures of a woman.
Riley County police say Richard Thomas, 35, was arrested in the 500 block of Scenic Drive after an incident in the 300 block of N. 5th Street.
Police say Thomas sent inappropriate images of a female to lure Joseph Coaxum Junior of Junction City, Kansas to a parking lot on N. 5th Street.
Once Coaxum arrived he was threatened with a firearm and his vehicle was damaged with a blunt object.
Thomas was arrested for the offenses of aggravated assault, promoting obscenity, and criminal damage to property.
The total estimated damage was valued at $8,000 dollars.
He was given a bond of $11,000 dollars.
