    RCPD Report 7/15

    RCPD update on Ft. Riley Blvd. ClosureMANHATTAN, KAN. – On July 14, 2015 at approximately 11:30 AM officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to a vehicle collision. This collision occurred near the intersection of College Ave. and Claflin Rd. Police found that a 2006 Chevy Impala driven by James Eickman, 67, of Manhattan while traveling south on College attempted to turn right onto Claflin Road when it collided with a 2007 Kia Spectra driven by Charmeachealle Moore, 22, of Manhattan. Moore was transported to Via Christi Hospital for complaint of pain. His injuries were not considered life threatening. No citations have been issued at the time of this report. Officers continue to investigate.
