A Leavenworth man taken into custody following a high-speed chase in Pottawatomie County earlier this month waived a preliminary hearing in Pottawatomie County court Tuesday.
Travis Doughty, 19, is now set for an August 20th arraignment.
Doughty faces charges of aggravated assault, fleeing to elude, reckless driving, criminal discharge of a firearm, and criminal damage to property charges. He was arrested after a couple hour chase and search, which reportedly began with an alleged shooting incident involving another car in the Carnahan Creek area. Numerous law enforcement officers from a variety of agencies were involved, with the suspect vehicle later located.
