    The Kansas State University Police Department is looking for any information regarding an investigation of a burglary at a K-State Forestry Extension building at Tuttle Creek State Park.

    Between Aug. 21-25, an unknown person or people entered the building and stole several items including a vehicle, ATV, lawn mower and other items. The vehicle has been recovered, but the other losses are valued at more than $10,000.

    Anyone with information about this crime, including any suspect information, can contact the K-State Police Department at 785-532-6412. Anonymous tips can be sent to the department’s silent witness website or through the university’s Live Safe App.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department filed a report for the offense of criminal damage to property in the 1500 block of Pipher Lane in Manhattan on Wednesday at approximately 8:50 AM with the crime likely occurring the prior night. Police found Quinton Cox, 23, of Manhattan became the victim of the crime when his red 2001 Kawasaki ZR-75 motorcycle sustained significant damage by an unknown subject(s).

    The total estimated loss was listed at $3,000 and currently officers are asking anyone with information to contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers at 539-7777. By using this service you can remain completely anonymous and could qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
