Pottawatomie County Commissioners have approved the 2016 budget.
“It was a long process,” said Pat Weixelman, commission chairman.
The budget does include a slight mill levy increase.
“It was only about a .7 of a mill it went it, but we hate to do that,” said Weixelman.
While growth in the west part of the county has made it difficult to keep the levy flat, weixelman says Pottawatomie County is still in great shape compared to the rest of the state.
