    Police Seek Additional Suspects in Armed Robbery

    MANHATTAN, KAN.- Detectives with the Riley County Police Department have identified two additional suspects in a series armed robberies that occurred on Friday, September 4th.

    Police would like information on the whereabouts of Carson Buckley (16) and Janier Vega (17), both of Manhattan.

    Buckley stands about 6′ 1″ tall and weighs approximately 240 lbs. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Vega stands approximately 6′, 2″ inches tall and weighs approximately 160 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.

    Both subjects have been reported as runaways and should be considered armed and potentially dangerous.

    Do not approach or attempt to apprehend these subjects.

    Friday, September 11th: –An additional arrest has been made in the previously reported series of Robberies and a Theft that were reported in the central portion of Manhattan on September 4th, 2015.

    Detectives with the Riley County Police Department on September 11th, 2015 at approximately 10:30 AM arrested Johnathon Elliott, 20, of Manhattan.  Elliott was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department.  Elliott was placed under arrest for two counts of Aggravated Robbery, Contributing to a Child’s Misconduct and Theft.  Bond was listed as $130,000.00 and Elliott remains confined at the time of this report.

    This case continues to be under investigation and additional arrests are expected to be made.
