    Chamber Recognizes Legacy Circle Honorees

    Nearly 30 Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce members became part of a new tradition Tuesday, with the members of 50 plus years recognized as 2015 Legacy Circle Honorees. Chamber President Lyle Butler reminded the group of the Chamber’s 90th birthday being celebrated this year, saying many of those represented at the luncheon played a key role in making this a “very,very,very successful organization.”
    It was part of a new tradition. “Long overdue” is the way Butler and local Chamber Vice President of Membership Kim Dahlsten  describes Tuesday’s recognition, with four more that will come into the Legacy Circle next year.
    The businesses represent a variety of fields such as  builders, bankers, pharmacy, communications, jewelers, and medical. A list follows:
