Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Thomas Richard Scripter, 28, of Manhattan, on Saturday evening. Scripter was arrested at approximately 6:20 p.m. in the 3100 block of Claflin Road. His charges include driving under the influence, attempting to elude, battery, refusal of a chemical test, and interfering with a law enforcement officer. Scripter was taken to the Riley County Jail, where his bond was set at $6,000.
