A Manhattan man already facing several drug-related charges has been arrested again by Riley County Police.  Jason Ludecke, 37, was taken into custody Monday at about  6:40 PM while at the Riley County Police Department.
This latest arrest stems from an incident that occurred in March of this year and lists the offenses of possession of opiates, opium, narcotic or other certain stimulants as well as the use and/or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $10,000.
Ludecke’s arrest last Wednesday was the result of an investigation that led to a search warrant and 11 counts, including possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

A Lawrence teen-ager was taken into custody by Riley County Police Monday evening at approximately 6:20.  Robert Mace, 18, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department.

Mace was arrested on a warrant for probation violation with “no bond” set by the Riley County District Court.

    ###
The Riley County Police Department received information that suggested an aggravated assault occurred at the Manhattan HIgh School West campus in the 2100 block of Poyntz Avenue on Monday. The incident is said to have occurred at approximately 1:00 PM between a juvenile male victim and a 33-year-old female suspect (who was known to the victim).
The nonphysical altercation involved a suspect who allegedly brandished a pocket knife for a short time and officers are working to confirm the claims made to them. This investigation is ongoing and no further information has been released at the time of this report.
