RCPD Report 10/28/15

RCPD vehicles 6-15

Officers with the Riley County Police Department are investigating a report of rape in the city limits of Manhattan which occurred the evening of Oct. 9. Police found that a 19-year-old female was touched inappropriately by a male suspect who is approximately 24-years-old. Police continue to investigate this incident and at the time of this report no further information was available to release.


 

Ramon Fewell, 51, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza in Manhattan on Tuesday at approximately 12:15 p.m. He was arrested on a warrant for the offense of violation of bond with an original offense of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and distribution of a controlled substance. He was given a bond of $25,000 and at the time of this report was confined at the Riley County Jail.


 

Police arrested Anthony Hernandez, 26, of Manhattan, while in the 300 block of Griffith Drive at approximately 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday.  Hernandez was arrested for the offenses of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, and aggravated endangering of a child.

He was also arrested for the offense of criminal damage to property.

This arrest stemmed from an incident involving a physical altercation with a family member while a child was present. Hernandez was said to have brandished a knife during the altercation. Police contacted him a short time after the incident after he fled the scene. Hernandez was given a bond of $15,000 and at the time of this report he was confined at the Riley County Jail.
