51st District St. Representative Ron Highland of rural Wamego in Wabaunsee County has filed for re-election. Highland’s name is currently listed on the Kansas Secretary of State’s office upcoming election filing list.
Highland was first elected to the position in 2013. He currently serves as Chair of the Education Committee and a Special Committee on K-12 Student Success. He’s also Vice-chair of the House Special Committee on All Day Kindergarten.
