Several arrests were reported by Riley County Police Thanksgiving morning. Codey Lindquist, 18, of Manhattan was taken into custody on charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, criminal sodomy, and indecent and electronic solicitation involving a child. The case relates to an earlier reported incident involving two alleged consensual teens, with one under 16 years old. Lindquist was arrested Wednesday afternoon with bond set at $20,000.

Jase Stanton, 29,  of Manhattan was arrested for offender registration. which involves failure to report accurately and in full information as required by the Kansas offender registry act. As earlier reported by KMAN during a preliminary hearing last month three Fort Riley soldiers testified regarding a June seventh incident, when they indicated they met Stanton at a Manhattan bar. The men indicated they went to his home where he had promised there would be women, but passed out after consuming part of a mixed drink made by Stanton. As KMAN first reported back in June, Stanton made Kansas City Headlines in 2009 and resigned from his position as a field coordinator with Todd Tiahrt’s U-S Senate campaign after being accused of aggravated criminal sodomy and sexual battery. He was later convicted of those crimes. Stanton’s bond was set at $10,000.

Other arrests reported Thursday include Randall Flanagan, 21, of Ogden for probation violation, with a $10,000, Shawn Hawkins, 24,  of Georgia for failure to appear and probation violation, with a $10-thousand dollar bond set, and Angela Hiner, 40,  of Rossvile for failure to appear with no bond.
