    Riley County Police responded to a vehicle collision near the intersection of Claflin and Browning in Manhattan Monday at about 1:00 PM. Officers on scene found a 2004 Chrysler 2-door driven by Blake Clifton, 21, of Manhattan was traveling west on Claflin Road when it was struck by a 2015 Nissan Altima driven by Marlaina Wahl, 23, of Wheaton.
    Police determined that the Nissan Altima was traveling south on Browning Avenue when it failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign. Wahl was issued a citation for the traffic offense after being transported to Via Christi by Riley County EMS for complaint of pain.
    The area near the intersection was closed to traffic for a short time.

    Riley County Police are investigating a report of several instances of past rape after meeting with a 34-year-old female victim. Police were told of more than one occasion when the victim did not give consent for sexual relations.
    Officers are investigating two suspects, identified only as 27 and 30-year-olds who are known to the victim and are said to have committed these crimes separately distanced by time, date, and location. The crimes reportedly  occurred between September and December 31st of 2014 in the city limits of Manhattan and were reported to police on Monday at approximately 8:20 PM Monday.
     Police continue to investigate these crimes and due to the ongoing status and nature no further information was released.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department filed a report for aggravated indecent liberties with a child for an incident that occurred Saturday between 7:00 and 8:00 PM.
    Police listed the victim as being a 13-year-old female after she was allegedly groped and touched inappropriately in a sexual manner by two suspects who were approximately 9-years-old and 10-years-old.
    Police continue to investigate the matter and due to its ongoing status and nature no further information was released at the time of this report.
