Florence Manufacturing has implemented a reduction in force, involving 80 permanent positions. Marketing Manager Donna Logback tells KMAN the company announced the lay-offs to employees Tuesday.
Logback says the reduction is due to a major client of Florence suspending a program. She adds they expect to maintain just over 300 permanent positions moving forward.
Florence Manufacturing, which is located in the Business Park behind the Manhattan Regional Airport, is the largest centralized delivery mailbox manufacturer in the country.
