A K-State Football Player landed behind bars over the weekend.
Sophomore defensive back, Kaleb Prewett was arrested in Manhattan on Sunday morning – on the charge of consumption and purchase of liquor by a minor.
The 20-year-old Prewett was arrested just after 1:00 a.m., in the 1600 block of Fairchild Avenue.
A statement by the university has not been released – likely adhering to K-State policy that sees that all arrests are handled internally by the school.
The football player was released on a $500.00 bond, according to the Riley County Police Department.
