Pottawatomie County Treasurer, Lisa Wright is seeking another term.
“I’m running for re-election because I love working with the public,” Wright told KMAN Monday after filing last week.
Wright has served as county treasurer since 2001 and in various other capacities over the years.
“I have been in office since 1987 starting with Motor Vehicle Clerk. In 1997 I became Deputy Treasurer under Randy Kuhfal and was able to learn so many new things,” Wright said as she discussed what she believes qualifies her to hold the position.
Wright says that she would like the opportunity to continue serving Pottawatomie County – adding that she thanks those who support and encourage her, throughout her campaign
