Jose Mangual, 58, of Manhattan was arrested on January 12, 2016 at approximately 2:30 PM while in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza. Mangual was arrested on a warrant for the offense of criminal threat which stemmed from an incident in late 2015. Mangual was given a bond of $5,000.00 and at the time of this report was no longer confined at the Riley County Jail.
Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Tre Smith, 23, of Manhattan while at the Riley County Police Department on January 12, 2016 at approximately 1:30 PM. Smith was arrested on a warrant for probation violation and given “no bond.” At the time of this report Smith was confined at the Riley County Jail. The original offense listed on the warrant was possession of methamphetamine.
The Riley County Police Department arrested Keith Smith, 18, of Ogden, Kansas while in the 600 block of Fairlane in Manhattan on January 13, 2016 at approximately 1:35 AM. Smith was arrested for the offenses of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and criminal carrying of a weapon. He was given a bond of $5,000.00 and at the time of this report was confined at the Riley County Jail. He was arrested after officers performed a traffic stop on his vehicle for a traffic infraction. Police also arrested Kody Nations, 22, of Ogden, Kansas for the offense of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a bond of $3,000.00 and at the time of this report was confined at the Riley County Jail.
