The Horned Frogs opened the second quarter with a 9-3 run to build a 29-20 lead with 4:07 to play. TCU would build the advantage to 13, 37-24, on Medley’s third 3-pointer of the half.

The Wildcats trimmed the deficit to seven at the half, 37-30, as Taylor drained her second 3-pointer of the half and Page ended the scoring in the second quarter with her second 3-pointer with 16 seconds to play.

TCU shot 51.7 percent (15-of-29) from the floor in the opening half, while K-State shot 39.3 percent (11-of-28).

After TCU built a 12-point lead, 51-39, with 4:39 to play in the third quarter, K-State rallied back with a 6-0 run to pull to within five, 53-48. Lewis registered five of the six points during the run.

The Horned Frogs would close out the third quarter on an 11-3 run to build a 64-51 lead entering the final frame.

In the early stages of the fourth quarter, TCU built its lead to 17 as AJ Alix drained a 3-pointer with 8:38 to play.

K-State climbed back into the game with a 20-7 run to trail by four, 75-71, with 3:09 to play, as Wesemann drained her fourth 3-pointer of the second half.
