A report for burglary and other offenses was filed in the 200 block of 12th Street in Ogden, Kansas on January 31, 2016 and police made an arrest the following day. Officers arrested William Weber, 26, of Berryton, Kansas on the offenses of theft by deception, making false information, and criminal use of a financial card. Weber was arrested while in the 200 block of 12th Street on February 1, 2016 at approximately 12:00 PM. He was given a bond of $10,000.00 and at the time of this report was confined at the Riley County Jail. Police found that several charges were placed on a financial card that Weber was not authorized to use. These purchases occurred at Wal-Mart, Target, and Casey’s General Store and totaled an amount of over $1,000.00.

Police investigating the collision found that a 2007 GMC 2500, driven by Scardina, was traveling south on Seth Child Road and making a turn onto Claflin (eastbound) when it struck a 2016 Nissan Rogue, driven by Holly Johnson, 39, of Manhattan. Officers continue to investigate this collision.
