    RCPD Report – 2/4/16

    RCPDOfficers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Edward Houston Jr., 49, of Junction City, Kansas on February 3, 2016 at approximately 11:50 AM while at the Riley County Police Department. Houston was arrested on a warrant from Geary County, Kansas for the offense of violation of a bond condition. He was given a total bond of $10,000.00 and at the time of this report was no longer confined at the Riley County Jail.


     

    Police filed a report for theft in the 100 block of Town Center Mall on February 3, 2016 at approximately 8:35 PM after they were informed of a theft that occurred at Victoria’s Secret. Officers found that approximately $2,040.00 worth of underwear, pants, and shorts were removed by an unknown subject. At the time of this report no arrests had been made or citations been issued.     RCPD is investigating a criminal trespass and window peeping incident which occurred in the 900 block of Humboldt Street on February 3, 2016 at approximately 11:15 PM. Officers found that an adult male subject had entered a backyard and peered through a window prior to leaving the scene on foot in an unknown direction. RCPD would like to take this opportunity to remind the community to contact police if suspicious behavior is observed.
