    RCPD report 3/9/16

    RCPDReportOfficers with the Riley County Police Department filed a report for the offense of promoting obscenity to minors after police were told that a 14-year-old male suspect showed an inappropriate video of another male using the restroom. This video was shown to others under the age of 18 while in the 900 block of Poyntz Ave. on March 8, 2016 at approximately 7:15 AM. Viewing the video was unwanted by the other juveniles associated with this investigation. Police continue to investigate the matter and at the time of this report no further information was available to release.


     

    Nicole Murdock, 43, of Manhattan was arrested while in Pottawatomie County, Kansas on a warrant for failure to appear. This arrest took place on February 29, 2016 at approximately 7:11 PM and was a result of a warrant from Riley County District Court. She was given a bond of $13,000.00 and at the time of this this report was not confined at the Riley County Jail.


     

    Michael Matthews, 53, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 3200 block of Valleydale Drive in Manhattan for the offenses of criminal trespass and violation of a protection order. He was given “no bond” and at the time of this report was confined at the Riley County Jail. Due to the domestic nature of this investigation no further information has been released.
