    An Ogden man was arrested early Friday morning for an outstanding warrant and drug charges.

    Dereck J. Williams, 22, of Ogden, was arrested in the 1000 block of Meadowbrook Lane in Manhattan on Friday morning at approximately 1:31 a.m. during a traffic stop.

    Williams was taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Geary County District Court for the offense of criminal threat. The incident of criminal threat reportedly occurred on Feb. 10 in Geary County.

    Williams’ bond for the warrant was set at $5,000. In addition to the warrant, Williams was also placed under arrest for possession of methamphetamine. Williams’ bond for this offense was set at $3,000 through the Riley County District Court. At the time of this report Williams is still confined at the Riley County Jail.
