    RCPDReportOn April 17, 2016 at approximately 5:30PM Alice N. Lam (19) of 1500 N. Manhattan Avenue Manhattan, KS reported to police that her 2013 Honda Civic had been stolen sometime in the past two days while it was parked in the 1400 block of McCain Lane. At the time of this report the vehicle has yet to be located.


    Truth H. Wilson (23) of 605 SW Arbuckle Lawton, OK was arrested on a probation violation warrant on April 17, 2016 at approximately 9:15AM at the Riley County Police Department. The probation violation warrant was issued by the Riley County District Court and stems from a prior charge of attempted aggravated robbery. Wilson is currently confined at the Riley County Jail on a $25,000 bond.


    Stacie L. Sayles (31) of 401 Laramie Apt A Manhattan, KS was arrested on a failure to appear arrest warrant on April 15, 2016 at approximately 10:24PM at the Riley County Police Department. The failure to appear arrest warrant was issued by the Manhattan Municipal Court and stems from a prior offense of driving while a habitual violator. Sayles is currently being held at the Riley County Jail without a bond.


    On April 15, 2016 at approximately 8:05PM officers were dispatched to the Dara’s Fastlane convenience store located at 5321 Tuttle Creek Blvd for a report of a physical altercation involving two males. An investigation into the incident led to the arrest of Rafael J. Sanchez III (32) of 117 Parker Drive Manhattan, KS for aggravated battery. Sanchez is currently confined at the Riley County Jail and is being held on a $7,000 bond. The victim in the incident is Glen E. Franklin (40) of 802 Court Street Clay Center, KS. Franklin was transported by EMS to Via Christi Hospital. The extent of Franlin’s injuries are unknown at this time.


    Brandon X. Breeden (17) of 1324 Flint Hills Place Manhattan, KS was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant on April 15, 2016 at approximately 4:00PM at his residence. The arrest warrant was issued by the Pottawatomie County District Court and lists the offenses of kidnapping and aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Breeden’s bond was set at $3,000 and he has since posted bond.
