RCPDReportOfficers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Jesus Martinez-Rubio, 23, of Park City, Kansas on April 20, 2016 at approximately 12:00 PM. Martinez-Rubio was arrested on a warrant for the offense of failure to appear with an original offense of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He was given a bond of $6,000.00 and at the time of this report was no longer confined at the Riley County Jail. He was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department.


Brandon Mechels, 21, of Manhattan, Kansas was arrested while in the 2400 block of Seth Child Road on April 20, 2016 at approximately 7:35 PM. He was arrested on offenses including distribution of marijuana, possession of opiates, opium, or narcotic drugs, possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, plant, or cultivate, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, and use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. He was given a bond of $22,000.00 and at the time of this report was confined at the Riley County Jail. This arrest stemmed from traffic stop as a result of a traffic violation which occurred at approximately 6:45 PM.
