    Police in Riley County arrested Colby Gant, 27, of Council Grove, Kansas on April 21, 2016 at approximately 12:40 PM. He was at the Riley County Police Department at the time of this arrest on the offense of several crimes related to drugs. Gant was arrested on the offenses of possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of an opiate, opium, or narcotic drug, as well as theft of property or services, use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, criminal use of a financial card, and criminal damage to property. He was given a bond of $20,000.00 and at the time of this report he was not confined at the Riley County Jail. This arrest stems from a warrant issued in Morris County, Kansas.

    The Riley County Police Department responded to a single vehicle collision in the 5200 block of McDowell Creek Road on April 21, 2016 at approximately 6:50 PM. This collision involved a 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Dylan Ocasio, 21, of Junction City, Kansas. Police arriving on scene found that the motorcycle lost control and left the roadway and crashed in a field after colliding with a driveway. No citations have been issued at the time of this report. Riley County EMS transported Ocasio to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of injuries that he sustained after being ejected from his vehicle.
