Riley County emergency personnel responded to the 500 block of McDowell Creek Road in Manhattan on Saturday at approximately 11:10 p.m. for a report of a suicide.
When responding officers arrived they found Brian James Gaede-Shilling, 30, of Manhattan, was deceased from an apparent self-inflicted wound.
Police do not suspect foul play based on information and evidence collected at the scene.
