    Wamego commission reviews library report

    Wamego City HallThe Wamego City Commission recently reviewed the city library’s 2015 Annual Report.

    During a meeting Tuesday, Wamego Public Library’s Executive Director, Bryan McBride began his presentation by thanking the Commission for their support over the years.

    The Library’s motto is ‘Expanding Minds, Empowering People and Enriching Community’ and the numbers reflect positive results.

    According to the report, there were over 43,000 visitors to the library, which amounts to one person for every 3 point 3 minutes or 146 per day.

    According to McBride, the Wamego Public Library is a full-service library offering 74 adult programs, 177 children’s programs, public computers, an expanded e-book program, free Wi-Fi , and meeting room availability.
