    The Kansas Association of Broadcasters announced KMAN has won several 2016 KAB awards.

    1st Place PSA – MARPC After Prom – Andy Crowl, Heidi Lawson, Caitlin Whetstone, and Chris Swick

    1st Place Complete Newscast – KMAN Morning News – Dave Lewis & Cathy Dawes

    1st Place Special Program – Powercat Gameday – John Kurtz, Corey Reeves & Matt Walters

    1st Place Sports Feature – Cover 5 – Brady Bauman

    1st Place Editorial – Varney’s Closes – Dave Lewis

    2nd Place Station Promo – One Way Street KMAN staff

    2nd Place Complete Sportscast – John Kurtz
