    The Riley County Police Department has received several reports of vehicle burglary in the past several weeks. If you have been the victim of a vehicle burglary (even if nothing was taken) please contact police to report this crime. If you meet the criteria for online reporting of crime you can file a police report from a computer or mobile device with internet access. This online report can be filed through RileyCountyPolice.org. RCPD encourages you to lock and secure doors and windows on your vehicles and homes. Please remember to remove valuables from your vehicle and report suspicious activity or behavior. If you have information about recent vehicle burglaries in the Manhattan, Kansas area and wish to qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00 contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers at 785-539-7777.

    Riley County Police arrested Shayler Willis, 22, of Clay Center, Kansas while at the Riley County Police Department on August 15, 2016 at approximately 11:50 AM. Willis was arrested on a warrant for probation violation with a bond of $5,000.00. He was also arrested on a warrant for the offense of failure to appear which had “no bond.”
