    RCPD BadgeStowe’s Painting of Manhattan became the victim of theft between Friday July 29 and Monday August 1 when an unknown subject(s) removed two 2 power-washers with accessories from the 1400 block of Watson Place. The total estimated loss was listed as $1,380 and at the time of this report no arrests had been made or citations issued. If you have information about this crime contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. The items taken were not secured and were unattended at the time of this crime.


    A report for burglary was filed in the 900 block of Garden Way in Manhattan on Monday August 1 at approximately 6:10 PM. Officers noted that Tasha Clark, 23, of Manhattan became the victim of this crime when her apartment was entered and several items were removed. These items included a flat-panel television, XBOX One, PlayStation 2, and a PlayStation 3. Video game controllers, cables, a laptop and hard-drive were also taken by an unknown suspect(s). The total estimated loss was listed as $1,560 and at the time of this report no arrests had been made and suspect(s) were unknown. Police ask anyone with information on this crime to contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers or RCPD. This crime is likely to have occurred between 4:15 and 6:00 PM on Monday August 1, 2016.


    Anntonette Duran, 26, of Manhattan was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on Monday August 1 at approximately 8:50 PM. Duran was arrested on the offense of failure to appear with a bond of $5,000. The original offense listed on this warrant was burglary. She was confined at the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
