    Police filed a report for and are now investigating an alleged rape which is reported to have occurred on Tuesday night at approximately 9:00 PM at Anneberg Park in Manhattan. Police listed the victim in this investigation as a 19-year-old female. Officers are currently investigating this incident that involved two male suspects who are known to the victim and traveled to the park with her. Due to the nature of this investigation, no further victim information has been released.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested 47-year-old Thomas Farrell of St. Marys while at the Riley County Police Department on Monday at approximately 6:00 PM. Farrell was arrested on the offenses of making false information, theft by deception, and mistreatment of an elderly person. This arrest stemmed from a Pottawatomie County warrant.

    RCPD filed a report for the offenses of theft by deception, identity theft, and forgery after being made aware of a customer at A Full House in Manhattan who used false information in order to rent several items worth over $1,500. These items included three TVs and furniture. Officers continue to investigate and at the time of this report no arrests had been made or citations issued. Some of the items rented have been recovered.
