Joseph Brown, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department yesterday morning. Brown was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Brown’s bond was set at $5,000.00 and he was not confined at the time of this report.
Officers with the Riley County Police Department filed a report for vehicle burglary in the 800 block of S. Seth Child Rd. yesterday at approximately 11:15 AM. David Guzman, 41, of Fort Riley, was listed as a victim when an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and took his Apple iPhone 6 Plus and a diaper bag with miscellaneous items. Guzman indicated the incident occurred on Monday between 6:12 PM and 6:20 PM. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $550.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
