A small kitchen fire was been reported at Dillon’s Westloop on Thursday morning.

The Manhattan Fire Department was dispatched to the store at 10:56 a.m. for a fire that started in the deep fryer of the kitchen.

The fire was contained and extinguished rather quickly. Lingering smoke, however, forced a brief evacuation of the store, which lasted approximately 15 minutes.
