    Fatal accident reported in Pottawatomie County

    Updated noon Monday:
    A rural Olsburg man died in a Pottawatomie County motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon.  Christopher Browne, 60, has been identified as the driver of that motorcycle, which crashed in the area of Carnahan and Otter Creek Roads at about 3:45 p.m. Browne was pronounced dead at the scene.

    The accident remains under investigation, however, no other vehicles are believed to be involved. Agencies responding on this call were The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office, Kansas Wildlife – Parks and Tourism, Pottawatomie County EMS and the Olsburg Fire Department.

    A fatal accident was reported in Pottawatomie county Sunday, including one involving a motorcycle on Carnahan and Otter Creek Roads shortly after 3:30 in the afternoon. The Pottawatomie county Sheriff’s Department worked that accident and more information is expected later Monday morning.
    And the Kansas Highway Patrol indicates a 21-year-old Soldier man was injured in an accident on K-63 just north of Grandview Road in Pottawatomie County. Aaron Goforth was driving a Nissan Versa southbound on K-63 when the vehicle struck a deer. Goforth was taken to Onaga Community Hospital. The accident was reported shortly after six a.m. Sunday. Goforth was wearing a seatbelt.
