A special meeting for the Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 Board of Education will be held tonight.

The meeting is to look over the facilities for the elementary schools throughout the district. The purpose of the meeting is to give board members the opportunities to voice any concerns for things they have found in these studies .

Some of the main statistics being looked over by the board are some of the inadequacies of the facilities like lack of storm shelters and over capacity. The will also be looking at scenarios for improvements to the schools.

Board members will also use this information to further help with the district’s master plan. More special meetings like this one will be held throughout the year.

The meeting begins tonight at 5:15 pm in the Kirmser Conference Center at the Robinson Education Center.
