    RCPD report 3/27/18

    Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property and attempted theft in the 4400 block of Kauffman Dr. in Manhattan on March 26, 2018 at approximately 5:05 PM. Officers listed Deep Roots Landscape as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged a trailer owned by the business. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
     David Wellborn, 21, of Junction City, Kansas, was arrested while in the 200 block of Custer Rd. on Fort Riley, Kansas on March 26, 2018 at approximately 8:45 AM. Wellborn was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated assault and battery. Wellborn was issued a total bond of $10,000.00. Wellborn was not confined at the time of this report.
     Ann Engert, 34, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 3000 block of Sunnyside Dr. in Manhattan on March 26, 2018 at approximately 11:20 PM. Engert was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Engert was issued a total bond of $25,000.00 causing her to remain confined at the time of this report.
