Manhattan High’s Daniel Harkin finished as the 6A state runner up in cross country on Saturday in Lawrence. He finished with a time of 15 minutes and 55 seconds. Harkin’s decorated career includes placing at state in track and tennis in addition to cross country. He was a part of last year’s MHS state championship in track and finished in the top ten in state in both the 1600 meters and 3200 meters.
