Though Veterans Day is on Sunday, the Flint Hills Discovery Center will continue appreciating them on Monday.
The Discovery Center, with assistance from the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation, will be free for all veterans, active duty or retired soldiers as well as their families and gold star families for Veterans Appreciation Day on Monday, November 12.
Attendees will be able to access everything inside the center, including the Bison: The Great American Icon exhibit.
The free event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
