OLATHE — Authorities say a train has struck and killed a man as he was trying to cross a set of railroad tracks in suburban Kansas City.
The Kansas City Star reports that the man died at the scene Saturday in Olathe. His death remains under investigation and his name wasn’t immediately released.
A preliminary investigation indicated the man was trying to cross the tracks when he was hit.
