Officers responded to the report of a non-injury accident in the 3300 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd on January 18, 2019, at approximately 4:05 PM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2007 Buick Lucerne driven by Alan Tinsman, 19, of Wakefield had lost control and stuck multiple road signs. Tinsman was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries.
Officers responded to the report of a non-injury accident near mile marker 319 on I-70 on January 19, 2019, at approximately 10:30 AM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2016 Kenworth Northwest T68 Semi driven by James Lampkin Jr, 55, of Aurora, CO lost control and drove into the median.
Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in the 1100 block of Moro in Manhattan on January 20, 2019, at approximately 2:35 AM. Officers listed Maquala Varnell, 20, of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported an unknown male suspect displayed a weapon after stopping his vehicle in front of hers. Officers listed Susan Foster-Flowers, 50, of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported known male suspect took the victims Vizio television and charcoal grill. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $900.00.

Officers listed Holly Ugo, 30, of Manhattan and the State of Kansas as the victims when it was reported a known male suspect ran towards a law enforcement officer with a weapon in his hand. Daniel Valaika, 21, of Manhattan was arrested for aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and interference with a law enforcement officer. Valaika was issued a total bond of $15,000.00. Valaika was still confined at the time of this report.
